What is AIRFLOW?

 

The EMS AIRFLOW® is an advanced machine that uses Guided Biofilm Therapy, which is the latest technology in preventative dental care.

The AIRFLOW uses air, warm water and a fine antibacterial powder to clean and polish teeth in one simple procedure. Using this treatment is not only pleasant for the dental practitioner but also for the patient as The AIRFLOW is a quicker more accurate clean with temperature controlled heated water making it much more comfortable for those with sensitive teeth or gum recession.

Although the Airflow does an amazing job at removing biofilm, soft plaque and staining your hygienist will still have to use a traditional ultrasonic scaler to remove hard plaque. The use of the AIRFLOW does generally reduce the amount of time that's needed to be spent scaling.
