Dr Adam Barrett
Adam has been working in the dental industry for over 17 years, first as a Dental and Oral Health Therapist and now as an award-winning Dentist. Adam received his Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University where he received an International award, the Pierre Fauchard twice and was awarded student of the year! Adam is an association member with the ADA and is on the leadership committee.
Adam grew up on the Central Coast and is committed to giving back to his community. He has a strong passion for orthodontics, endodontics and aged care dentistry. Adam is able to put the most anxious patients at ease.
Adam enjoys being a Dad, he has 3 Labradors and is a Rep for Australia, NSW and Central Coast in Oztag.
Dr Britt Ewing
Originally from Canada, Dr Britt's love of the dental field started at an early age. She worked as a dental assistant for 4 years, then pursued a Diploma of Dental Technology specialising in cosmetic veneers. After a few years and missing the personal connection with patients, Dr Britt made the decision to go back to school and become a dentist: this decision led her to Griffith University in Queensland. She has made Australia her home and has lived here since 2013. Dr Britt has a strong interest in building therapeutic relationships with her patients. It is critical for her to create a mutual respect with patients so that she can deliver education and treatment in a setting where they feel empowered.
Dr Britt has a special interest in Oral surgery and Periodontics. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching Yoga and spending time at the beach.
Dr Nikki Barrett
Nikki grew up and studied in regional NSW graduating from Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) before going on to complete a Bachelor in Dental Science from Charles Sturt University
Orange in 2013. Since then, she has worked in general practice on the Central Coast as well as Aboriginal Health and Orthodontics in the central west. Nikki now lives locally with her family and has
joined Seascape Dental as our popular female dentist, she is a very caring Dentist who with a bubbly and happy personality.
She has a special interest in treating kids, oral surgery, dentures and the application of Botox for jaw dysfunction and cosmetics. She also enjoys tutoring part time at the University of Newcastle.
Nikki likes to spend time with her family taking their three Labradors to the beach and playing oztag and soccer.
Oral Health Therapist
Erika grew up in Tamworth, regional NSW and moved to Newcastle in 2015 to commence her studies at The University of Newcastle. Growing up in country NSW has shaped Erika's Values towards oral and general health, which has enriched her passion for helping others. Her 7 years of experience in the dental industry began in her hometown working as a dental assistant and has since flourish with further studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy.
Being an Oral Health Therapist, Erika's desire is to improve the oral health of all her patients through education and prevention. She takes pride building a strong relationship with all her patients and has a special interest in treating children. Erika's empathetic and nurturing personality ensures that any nervous patient has a pleasing comfortable experience when visiting her at Seascape Dental.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys travelling and exploring new destinations, doing pilates and spending time with friends and family.
